Children’s Rights Festival

FAJ for some years now has been joining forces with several local youth organizations on the islands  such as the  Bos di Hubentut ‘Fundashon Material pa Skol’ (FMS)  the Guardianship Board in Curaçao, SEBIKI in Bonaire and  the Youth Council in St Maarten. Each year these partners organize a successful and well-attended festival to celebrate International Children’s Day. November 20th was proclaimed officially day by UNICEF.

During this program the kids will internalize their rights by participating in the activities with the guidance of their teachers and volunteers. The activities varies from year to year depending on what part of the Right of the Child is focused on during that year.
